Colonel Miles Quaritch apparently died at the end of the first Avatar (sorry for the SPOILER,but you shouldve seen the movie by now), the villainous Colonel Miles Quaritch (played by Stephen Lang) but will still return for the forthcoming sequels.
"Steven was so memorable in the first film, we're privileged to have him back," Cameron told Deadline. "I'm not going to say exactly HOW we're bringing him back, but it's a science fiction story, after all. His character will evolve into really unexpected places across the arc of our new three-film saga. I really look forward to working with such a gifted actor, who's also become a good friend."
The star of Avatar Sam Worthington recently revealed that Avatar 2, 3 and 4 begin filming next fall, with Avatar 2 slated for a 2015 release.
Fox has scheduled Avatar 2 to hit theaters in December 2016, with Avatar 3 slated for December 2017, and Avatar 4 the year after that. (Wow,that's a long long time)

Mortal Instruments? :(
Hello Screen Addicts, today we're gonna be reviewing the MORTAL INSTRUMENTS as its BlueRay and DVD hits store shelves around you.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is a 2013 German-American adventure fantasy film based on the first book of The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. The story takes place in an urban and contemporary New York City. Directed by Harald Zwart, the film stars an international cast, including Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers, Jemima West, Godfrey Gao, Lena Headey, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Aidan Turner, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Durand, and Jared Harris. It was released in theaters on August 21, 2013.
Synopsis:
When Clary Fray's mother disappears, she learns that she descends from a line of warriors who protect our world from demons. She joins forces with others like her and heads into a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld.
Sounds promising right? As usual I'll keep the reviews spoiler free. The movie though ambitious, puts together the worst cast ever. Loaded with bad performances and convoluted story telling and more plot holes than a swiss cheese. This movie isn't for the keen minded. Its just that BAD.
4.5/10 its better you watch it on cable...and save your money.

JASON STATHAM ALMOST DIED
Action movies have always been dangerous business because, the more realistic the stunts, the more people appreciate it,thus legendary actors/stuntmen such as Jackie Chan,Sylvester Stallone,Jet Li and many more suffer great injuries to bring their stunts to life.
Jason Statham had a near death experience while shooting The Expendables 3, and co-star Terry Crews shared the story of how it all when down while talking to Jay Leno. "He basically drove off of a cliff into the Black Sea and lived to see another day. This makes me wonder why Warner Bros. didn't cast Statham as Batman, he's basically Batman in real life anyway".

MORTAL KOMBAT LEGACY 2 BEGINGS...
RIDDICK REVIEW
Whats up Screen Addicts!!!
A few weeks ago i did a full pictorial biography of Vin Diesel's anti-hero,action character Riddick (If you missed it? Your on your own. Check older stories on the site). Today we're gonna look at Riddick the movie,in this spoiler free review.
">
Left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, Riddick finds himself up against an alien race of predators. Activating an emergency beacon alerts two ships: one carrying a new breed of mercenaries, the other captained by a man from Riddick's past.
This movie is a direct follow up to the 2004 box office his Chronicles Of Riddick. It picks up on a very odd note, showing a defeated, battle weary Riddick, very uncommon to what Riddick is known for. Where in previous movies Riddick has been able to hide his humanity, here the first 40 minutes exposes a human Riddick indeed.
RIDDICK the movie sees a re-union with the director of the first movie in the series PITCH BLACK, David Twohy. At first glance RIDDICK looks like a PITCH BLACK reboot, but it does stand on its own in the story and action department. Expect to be thrilled with survival horror style over the top action, because RIDDICK as seen in this movie is the only hero that kept his promise about killing a man in 5 seconds, but i still prefer the kill he performed in CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK,where he took out a 300 pound man with a tea cup(awesome).
RIDDICK IN 2000'S PITCH BLACK
With a modest cast and a cameo ish appearance by Karl Urban (DRED,Star Trek),what the movie lacks in star power,it makes up for in what a movie should really embody.
VERDICT: 8.5/10
A little more star power next time guys.:)
