50cent gets shutdown

Last week, actress Holly Robinson Peete publicly went after Fif following his remarks.
Actress Holly Robinson Peete is celebrating a personal victory after rapper 50 Cent took heed of her plea and agreed to remove a series of offensive posts from Twitter. The former "21 Jump Street" star, whose eldest son Rodney, Jr. is autistic, was furious when she heard that the hip-hop mogul had insulted a rude Twitter follower on Monday night by telling him he looked autistic, and she leaped into action and wrote an open letter to 50 Cent, asking him to stop using such hurtful language. She went on to ask 50 Cent to remove the tweets to prevent impressionable kids from following his bad example, and she got exactly what she asked for on Wednesday when the rapper deleted the comments from his site. Marking the achievement, Peete writes on Twitter, "Really thankful that @50cent took down those tweets." (SF Gate)

Fif told over 6.8 million Twitter followers his comments were never meant to upset people.
"I realize my autism comments were insensitive, however it was not my intention to offend anyone and for this I apologize.," he tweeted Sunday (July 8). (50 Cent's Twitter)
