HARRISON FORD IS OK

Ford is now in stable condition according to People. The LAFD tweeted that Ford is suffering "fair to moderate injury."
Ford's son Ben tweeted the following update on his father:
At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man.
— Chef Ben Ford (@ChefBenFord) March 6, 2015
Ford's publicist issued the following statement: "Harrison was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which stalled upon take off. He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely. He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery".

Our prayers go out to Mr Indiana Jones.

AQUAMAN FIRST IMAGE

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder revealed the first image of Jason Momoa as Aquaman this week and now toofab has talked to the film’s costume designer, Michael Wilkinson, about the look. Wilkinson has previously teamed up with Snyder for Man of Steel, Sucker Punch, Watchmen and 300.

“It has been a thrill and an honor to bring this iconic character to life for a modern audience,” Wilkinson said about the Aquaman design.

“Zack Snyder has a brilliant vision for making this character powerful and relevant,” he added. “I enjoyed designing a costume that reflects this vision and honors the character’s rich legacy.”

Former “Game of Thrones” star Momoa is set to first appear as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, then will star in Justice League Part One in 2017, followed by the solo Aquaman movie in 2018.

Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Jena Malone, Holly Hunter and Scoot McNairy, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.

This guy's name should be AQUACULTURE BROS because this is the meanest incarnation of the comic  character Aquaman.

GAME OF THRONES 5 WARNING

Good and disturbing news for all GAME OF THRONES Fans:

The latest season of HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones” will be arriving very shortly and “A Song of Ice and Fire” creator George R.R. Martin was present at last night’s Writers Guild West Awards where he offered a bloody, cryptic tease about the new slate of episodes.

“People are going to die who don’t die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy,” Martin told Showbiz411. “So everybody better be on their toes. David and D.B. are even bloodier than I am.”

Martin also echoed an earlier story about the series’ ending, maintaining hat it’s still very flexible but they’re still not sure about an end point.

“This is the fifth season, the sixth season HBO picked up last year. We will have a 7th, 8th or 9th, no one knows. They only renew one or two seasons at a time. After we do season 6, maybe we’ll get a renewal for 7th and 8th. That all depends, Television is a very changeable medium…I have two more books, the one I’m writing right now, ‘The Winds Of Winter,’ and after that the last book, ‘The Dream of Spring,’ so those will be the two final books. But we’re talking 3000 pages of material. How many seasons that translates too? That’s up to D.B. And David.”

But take heart, “Game of Thrones” will return for its fifth season on April 12.

007 : SPECTER RISES

OK Screen Addicts, let me get you ready for the new JAMES BOND movie SPECTER which is due for release in November 2015.

SYNOPSIS : A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

Now for a little history lesson.

So the wait is over: it’s been announced that the 24th James Bond film will be called Spectre. Which means a return to the screen for the fictional terrorist organisation that featured in both the James Bond novels by Ian Fleming, and the films adapted from them.
What does Spectre stand for?
Spectre is an acronym for SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. The organisation made its first appearance in Fleming's 1961 novel Thunderball, and on screen in the first Bond film, Dr No (1962).
Who are the members of Spectre?
A heady mix of nasties, beginning with suave, metal-handed scientist Dr Julius No (Joseph Wiseman), followed by the eyepatch-wearing Emilio Largo (Adolfo Celi) in Thunderball. Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya), famous for her bladed shoes in From Russia With Love, was Number 3 in the organisation (having defected from Smersh), and the sinister Mr Wint (Bruce Glover) and Mr Kidd (Putter Smith), who tried to cremate Bond in Diamonds Are Forever, were also henchmen of the gang. But most famous of all is Spectre's Number 1: Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Who is Blofeld?
The ultimate super-villain, his heart set on world domination, Blofeld appeared in three Bond novels (Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and You Only Live Twice) and seven Bond films (From Russia with Love, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever, For Your Eyes Only and Never Say Never Again).
With his Nehru-collared suit and white Turkish angora cat, he is one of the most recognisable of the Bond characters, and has been parodied in everything from Danger Mouse to Austin Powers, where he was the main inspiration for Mike Myers's Dr Evil. His name was inspired by a boy Ian Fleming was at Eton with, Thomas Blofeld – father of the cricket commentator Henry "Blowers" Blofeld.
What does Blofeld look like?
Blofeld is a man of many guises. In From Russia With Love and Thunderball his face was never seen. In those films his body (only glimpsed below the neck) was that of Anthony Dawson (who also appeared in Dial M For Murder, and later popped up in 1967 Italian Bond spoof OK Connery) and his voice was supplied by the Viennese actor Eric Pohlmann.
In the Bond books, Fleming had Blofeld undergo plastic surgery to maintain his anonymity. This helps to make sense of the fact that Blofeld has been played by a series of different actors: Donald Pleasence (You Only Live Twice; bald, with a scar across his eye); Telly Savalas (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service; bald, no earlobes); Charles Gray (Diamonds Are Forever; grey-haired, earlobes restored); John Hollis (For Your Eyes Only; wheelchair-bound and never referred to by name because of copyright disputes over Thunderball); and Max von Sydow (grey-haired, bearded) in 1983’s Never Say Never Again.
Will Blofeld make an appearance in the new film?
Ostensibly, the answer is no; the role was not mentioned at the Bond 24 press conference. But remember that Blofeld is a master of disguise, and consider the character to be played by Christoph Waltz. The two-time Oscar-winner will play Hannes Oberhauser, an Austrian climbing and skiing instructor who taught Bond when 007 was a boy. Rumour has it that Oberhauser will turn into Blofeld – and thus Waltz will become the fifth (credited) actor to play the villain.
Spectre is released on October 23 2015 in the UK and November 6 2015 in the US

MORE ACTION FOR THE KINGS MAN

Hello Screen Addicts, Colin Andrew Firth, CBE (born 10 September 1960, making ) is an English film, television, and theatre actor. His films have grossed more than $3 billion from 42 releases worldwide, and also the star of Sci-fi action thriller THE KINGS MAN.

The 51 year old actor said he's ready to switch genres from his usual drama and romance movies to more action packed roles ( Looks like someone is gunning for Liam Neeson's job), and that if The King's Man was the audition, he definitely passed it. So it looks like the age of aged hero's is well upon us.

Hello Screen Addicts, today we are going to be poking and prodding at 12 Monkeys, a brand new series based on the 90's hit sci-fi film of the same name starring Bruce Willis (Oga Die Hard).

Every Sci-fi enthusiast would drool over any movie or story centred on time travel and consequences of a single decision rippling across time to F-up the future or present as the case may be.

Synopsis ; Follows the journey of a time traveller from the post-apocalyptic future who appears in present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will eventually decimate the human race.

Forget the word "Plague " and the deceptive posters, what this really is, is a time travel adventure with action and loads of character, mixing with gripping and intense story telling.

EVERLY AWESOME MOVIE

I love movies just like the next man in the cinema, but just with lukewarm releases saturating the market space it's hard to experience pure high concept movies. I honestly don't care about how much a movie made in its opening week, I care about my mind being dribbled and blown away in unthinkable awesomeness. Eg Matrix, Inception, Adjustment bureau.

Which brings us to EVERLY....
An action/thriller centered on a woman who faces down assassins sent by her ex, a mob boss, while holed up in her apartment.

No spoilers given. This is a deep high concept tale of a woman fighting for her sanity against a soulless enigmatic villain called "Psycho", you heard that right.  Admits the bullets flying, colourful assassins  and comical violence, there's plenty of heart felt moments and crowd pleasing dialogue.

Watch out for my favourite character in the movie THE SADIST. Dude is a freaking nightmare.

Trailer : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jCWXWgg5H9g

Rating 9.8/10
A must see, not for the unimaginative or faint of heart.
